Sport Clio V6Chris 02-25-2001, 10:34 AM This is a very confused car. I hear it can be easily coaxed into controlable oversteer, which would be quite fun. It has a 3L V6 with 225 hp, not exactly the best engine in the world.. Also, the 'box is set for relaxed touring, which is out of this cars nature. Yup, if you buy one, you will have to tune it. That is a very big job, as the engine bay (which is behind the seats) will have to be drasically changed. But get on a turbo, cams, high-compression pistons, and all that jazz and you could get 550 hp, then put on a new 'box, and away you go. The body looks quite mad, though. Heres the performance: 0-60 in 6 seconds, 138mph top speed, could someone post the quarter, please. I wouldn't buy one, but the first year is already sold out, so maybe I'm alone. Bean Bandit 02-26-2001, 04:35 AM I hate Renault for the decission they made for that car. I mean 225hp are good but they easily could set the engine the same way as the Clio Trophy was or at least the original sport setting means 278hp(I still have the pressrelease of that at home) Adam 03-13-2001, 04:08 PM Renault Sport Clio V6 is awesome! I don't care for performance, but it's looks could pull it even on my list w/ the BMW M Coupe! Bean Bandit 03-14-2001, 07:19 AM IMO they should have released the Trophy with interior that would be a sporty hatchback comparable to the M Coupe Adam 03-14-2001, 04:34 PM 14.6 seconds is the 1/4 mile time from Road & Track Stefanel1 10-13-2002, 01:45 PM The first Clio V6 was not perfect. The new one has been modified. The engine develops now 255 hp. Stefanel1 04-09-2003, 01:53 PM The new one is coming for June 2003 ! 255 hp and future evolutions are expected (275hp) Alas the price is not in my range :D 39 000 € (US$41 000, £25 000). Eldalie 05-19-2003, 04:01 AM It's the look, it's the nature of the car, it's like a animal, it's dangerous... it's a Clio V6. But still a Renault Spyder covers my dreams  Jimster 05-19-2003, 04:49 AM Originally posted by Stefanel1 The new one is coming for June 2003 ! 255 hp and future evolutions are expected (275hp) Alas the price is not in my range :D 39 000 € (US$41 000, £25 000).
