ok fellas since there is like no one in the delsol forum I want to ask you people. I got a delsol of course. now in back of the 2 seats as some of u might know there is like an extra fire wall as i will refer to it. I am thinkin of what the consiquences are of cutting that out. Like will it mess with the way the frame is structured? that would be a lot of weight reduction in place of like a custom made role cage or something ya know. I am pretty sure the window only comes about half way down but not sure about that. Plus the sound system I have will sound much better with that gone, probably not doable just thinking out loud....

My girl has a Delsol and from the way it rides with the top off, if you cut out the back the car will probably have a ton more twist and corner and ride like crap. Cage or no cage, its for rigidity.

yeah that extra support is really needed, since you have no roof for support they had to build up the body more...

Hondas dont really have a frame, its all subframes... you cut that away, guess what you are cutting away? The only way a "cage" would help would be to tub the thing out and rebuild the car onto a frame... and uhhhhh may I ask WHY?

cause its a mothafuckin question. You have no real response then I would think you wouldnt respond at all. It was just an idea of serious weight reduction when I make the car all track. The delsol has a crappy ride eh? lol that would be why the bumble bee delsol is a 2 time champion in that auto X shit right? once again no advice just flamers...
