Hood scope, front active lower spolier, also i believe(could be wrong) the lights in rear are arranged differently, turn-brake-backup-brake, vs in america turn-brake-brake-backup. I know there's more info on www.mkiv.com. Just to lazy right now to look it up :o

In japan, the turbos are ceramic coated, the Supra is rated at ~276 hp. The fuel system is weaker then USA. 440 injectors vs. 550 injectors. The list goes on and on.........

You're right about the taillight arrangement; the reverse light is between the two brake/parking lamps. The retractable front splitter is pretty slick.
