Hi there! I have a 1995 F-150 4X4 with a 5.0 and it is running like crap. When I start it, it acts if though it's running on 2 cylinders. I have to throttle the gas to it and then it runs ok. It does it most of the time but not always. I changed out the spark plugs and that seemed to help at first but 5 days later... I looked under the distributer cap and found that it was burnt and the rotor was burnt and pitted. I cleaned it up and it ran great... for a while... My question is... What could be causeing my distributor and rotor cap to be charring like this. By the way I changed the 2 out 2 months ago because the truck would barely idle.
