Why can't a GTO be a daily driver? How much you willing to spend? Do you want 2 back seats or 2 USEFUL back seats?

well they will not be used all that often but i want them if i need them. how much do GTO's run? do they hold up well on normal use? are there any other choices out there?

Well, sports car and 2 useful back seats don't mix well, kinda like fast and good gas mileage. Modern muscle cars are an option of course (Firebird/camaro, Mustang, GTO). I've seen GTOs as low as 20 grand, I dunno how good/reliable they are. RX-8 may be worth lookin' into. Also look into BMWs, perhaps M3 coupe. Probably suits this need the best.

I was actually looking at mazda RX-8's. whats up with "rotary engine"? I have heard mixed opinions about that engine. I have also heard RX-8's are high maintenance is there any truth to this? thanks for all the info so far

All I've heard is they burn oil as bad as Saturns, if not worse. best to check out the Mazda forum.
