buying a 2000 neonshaunmagee89 06-25-2007, 03:07 AM ok so heres the deal; im buying a 2000 plymouth neon for $3800 i plan on taking out a 8 or 9 grand loan with the left over money, i want to work on engine internals and definetly throw a turbo on it. it already comes with a turbo ready exhaust. staying within my budget, what do you recommend on purchasing to make this car move? or would it just be easy to buy an srt-4 motor and throw that in there? any and all comments welcome thanks for the help hink123321 06-25-2007, 12:39 PM I'm curious about your situation. Wouldn't it be easier to just buy a used SRT? shaunmagee89 06-25-2007, 05:23 PM nahh see the thing is, buying this stuff for a plymouth i can still pay insurance under a plymouth.. in new jersey, srt-4's are the most expensive cars for insurance so its not worth it. hink123321 06-26-2007, 11:49 AM I see what you mean. My son sold me his 1992 Dodge Stealth R/T for that reason. The insurance was so high it just was not worth owning. Insurance companies are something else. Good luck with your project. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
