torque specification for hub nut 99 blazer 4x4 vando002 06-20-2007, 02:31 AM
I'm finishing up replacing the bearings on the passenger side and there was no torque specification for the hub nut in my haynes book, only the bearing assembly bolts. I'd like to get it all together asap and was wondering the specs on the hub nut if anyone can help. Thanks. laxman21 06-20-2007, 09:04 AM http://vsmus-origin.skf.com/Files/Brochures_in_PDF/457377.pdf says...140 vando002 06-20-2007, 11:46 AM In that pdf on pg6 it says 103/140 with the heading saying "Front Proc or Torque Ft-lbs/Nm" so it's 103 Ft-lbs/140 Newton meters, right? blazee 06-20-2007, 02:16 PM Yes, that's correct 103 Ft/lbs. vando002 06-20-2007, 03:53 PM Thank you much for the help. Now I can finish up the passenger side and do the driver side! Related Links Enter the largest automotive community on the planet! |
