92-95 Civic D15b7 engine....D16z6 parts?white94civic 10-30-2002, 02:30 PM I am building my D15b7 motor right now....And am looking to take parts from D16z6 motor and swap them on mine. ...I was told the intake manifold and Throttle Body can be put onto my D15b7.........Is this true? But What else can I use on my motor...??? Cam Shafts and So on...... I will be getting Fuel Rail, Pressure Regulator, Cam Gear, And Pulleys....all aem and putting those on Please don't recommend me swapping my engine... higgimonster 10-30-2002, 02:34 PM I am no honda guru but if I remember correctly you should beable to exchange the heads between the engines. This would allow you to obviously use the intake manifold and Tb from the d16. civickiller 10-31-2002, 06:58 AM my friend bought a 92 civic and the previous owner said he put a vtec manifold on there, so if that correct then yes the z6 intake mani will work with your d15 if you talking about using cams from the z6 then i would advise not too because they are vtec cams and your car is non vtec.. but you could swap the whole head on so you would have vtec, the mini me swap. white94civic 10-31-2002, 01:54 PM Yup, Thats what I'm going to do....I found out exactly what I have to do. D16z6 complete head Venom Intake Manifold Venom Fuel Injectors AEM Fuel Rail Aem Fuel Pressure Regulator BJ Throttle Body Aftermarket Cam shaft AEM cam Gear Underthrobox Power Pulley full set.... All Motor.... Some port and polish done in process.....Doing everything my self over the next 6 months.... civickiller 10-31-2002, 08:03 PM what kind of cam you gonna get ? i would also get a port polish if you have the money. also i would save up for a new valvetrain so you can get a more radical cam, like instead of gettting a stage 1 cam you can get a stage 2 cam. also hwo much are you gonna up your comp ratio ? white94civic 11-01-2002, 10:52 AM I haven't gotten that in to it yet. I haven't researched about the cams. I'm learning as I go right now. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
