any one have any suggestions. im gunna be looking at a 2000 seville with about 85k on the engine, want to know what to beware of and look for before purchasing the car

Just check that basic maintenance has been done, especially to the cooling system. It should have been changed at least once by now. Also, I'd check the stored computer codes for any current or history codes, so you can see if there's any problems that don't set a warning message or light.

Thank youu!! and i believe that was u that posted on my other one thanks i appreciate it! i talked to the guy about the seville today and he was telling me that the solenoid in the transmission is no good it wont pass emissions.. and something about the mirror so i told him screw haha

One of the shift solenoids in the transmission is bad? That would be very expensive to fix!
If you really want a Seville, I'd try a 2002-2004. They were a little better than the earlier ones.

i just need a car. saw that cadillac looked alrite untill the problem. 2002 and 2004 are to much for me to spend at this time. Want to buy something nice and reliable without investing into a money pit

If you're just looking for a nice reliable Cadillac, I'd go for a 1994 or 1995 Sedan Deville with the 4.9 L engine. Very reliable cars, and they have modern styling.
