1988 Olds 88 Won't Start

The car is a 1988 Olds 88 with 153,000 miles. It has a 3.8 V6. The fuel presure is at 45 psi when the igntion is on. Does not loose fuel pressure. The fuel injectors read 14.5 Ohms on each. So far I have replaced the Harmonic Balancer, Crank Shaft sensor, Plugs, Wires, Air Filter. The balancer was bad. I was able to drive the car for a little while after replacing it. Then after stopping and sitting over night, I could not get it to start. That is when I replaced the plugs, wires, air filter, and crankshaft sensor. I also have spark. The starter does engage and turn the engine over but it will not start. It back fires when I let go of the key. Need assistance for diagnostics. What should I check out.

Double check the routing of the spark plug wires.
Check for spark at each of the 3 front cylinders or each coil.
Check for fuel injector pulse.
How did you center the crank sensor to the harmonic balancer?

My 87 delta 88 will start every once in awhile but wont run for very long. Other times it will try to start but doesn't quiet make it. Sometimes you'll hear it start for a second and then not. Other times it will just turn over with nothing happening. There doesn't seem to be any spark but how come it will try to start and sometimes (seldom) start? So confused. Please help

I used the tools from the parts store, cost me
$70. I did end up finding what my issue was. It was the ignition control module. How I determined it was the issue, was to remove it and the coils to clean the mounting bracket. I did this because of another thread that I had read stated that they were having random non-start issues and that is what the dealer had done to resolve it. I removed it cleaned the mounting surface, and the bottom of the ICM. It fired right up. It ran for about 45 minutes and died and would not start backup. I went to the Parts Store yesterday and got the ICM and replaced the one in the car. Car runs like a champion. Hopefully this information will help someone in the future.
