95 S10 Ball joints

I need to replace my lower ball joints and want to make sure I have everything covered before starting tonight. It is a '95 S10 4.3L 4x4. They were replaced about 65K miles ago and the replacements installed by a shop were the kind that bolt in, not the pressed in kind. I am assuming because of this all I have to do is take off the castle nut, remove the four bolts holding it in, take the old one out, and do the reverse with new ones (got Moog replacements). Is this correct or do the ball joints with four bolts still require a press for removal/installation? Also, do I need to remove anything else to get at the ball joints, like CV joints, and do I have to worry about the torsion bar twisting everything once I remove the ball joint? Thanks for the help.

If they have been replaced they will only have bolts in them.
I would suggest you get a good repair manual and it will lead you threw the repair.

Be careful and make sure you support blazer body and the lower control arm with a good jack stands before taking the lose.

when I replaced my passenger side lower ball-joint, I had to replace
the upper as well. When I was trying to tighten the old upper the shaft
turned with the bolt, So I had to replace it to. These here the
original pressed on ones. You may have some luck with the newer
replacements. You may want to purchase an upper to have it handy.
You can always return it later.
