145Amp Alternator Upgrade: Belt Question

So I bought a new 145Amp delphi alternator from a guy on ebay (Thanks BlenderWizard:smokin: for the tip).

Anywho, I put it on and my stock serpentine belt would not fit. It was very very close. So I go to AZ and ask for the 145Amp belt. The 2001 silverado 2wd 5.3 only shows a 105Amp and a 130Amp belt.

So I bought the 130Amp belt and it was kinda tight but it DID FIT. I was just wondering if any of you used a different make/model when buying a belt for this upgrade.

When I released the tensioner it moved back like a 1/2", and I remember the stock belt had more "slack".

Any Thoughts??

PS It starts and runs very nice!! The alt gauge shows a true 14.0~14.5 Volts, where my older stock one was showing less than 14 at idle.
