96 Cutlass Supreme Water Leak from Dashragrone 06-09-2007, 11:23 PM I was experiencing water build-up on the passenger side floor during heavy rains. I had the heater core replaced almost a year ago and was worried that was the problem but it is not although maybe related. I took a garden hose and sprayed the firewall and it appears that the cover for the heater core has a grommet of some type going through the firewall. It would appear that this fitting is hollow (open) to the cover (or in this general area for the water is definitely only coming in on the passenger side). Is there supposed to be an external hose connected to this ?fitting? or just an end cap on it? If not, what would be causing this problem? Any ideas? 3100MPFI 06-10-2007, 04:13 AM I know it is a bad pic, but you can make out a grommet with a 90* downturned elbow. http://i174.photobucket.com/albums/w86/riven2129/project/acdrain.jpg ragrone 06-10-2007, 10:00 AM Thank you very much ---- I had the whole thing apart to inspect the heater core again and lucky for me the heater core is "A OK" ---- thanks for the pic too!!!!! I will take this with me to the dealer to get a replacement vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
