I have a 1995 Jeep Cherokee and the speedometer is not working. Just put in the speed sensor thinking it would fix it but it did not change anything. Cruise and everything else still works. Any ideas? I need help.

Check the instrument pack or the wiring harness going to it.
There are other posts about the harness and connector going "bad" or "burnt up".

I have a '98 Cherokee Classic. The Air Bag light comes on and my sppedometer quits as well as all the gauges. Why gives?

Hi jeep lady. Welcome to AF.com. Glad ya found us.

From now on, if you could please post your own individual topic thread, that would be great as many different problems have just as many solutions. You starting a new tread for your trouble helps others that are searching find that specific information faster.Thanks...

Now, have you tried banging on the dashboard or instrument cluster itself when this happens? (not kidding) And, does it fix it?

If it does, there's a known issue with the wiring connection behind the cluster itself that causes this issue. Fixing it is as simple as cleaning the contacts on the harness and gauge cluster itself.

Please respond in a new thread. Go Wolverines!

~Good Luck.
