Greetings! I'm a geek turned mechanic. Just finished replacing wiper/cruise switch at the column of my 4d sedan. Lever had not worked wipers because a piece of plastic inside the switch broke and I could turn the lever 360 degrees! After four tries, finally got the right switch (my pivot pin was larger than the holes on three of them). I'm so proud of myself. Anyway, everything seems to work except the turn signals (which I swear started happening right before I attempted the wiper repair). Hazard lights come on, but curiously, only left signal indicator at dash flashes. Neither right nor left signals at lamps nor dash. Read online that hazard and turn signal flashers separate. Can't find signal flasher (or probably don't know what I'm looking for) under the dash on the drivers side. I do see a half-inch by two-inch rectangular connecter? mounted on drivers side, just left of the ashtray. It looks like something should be plugged in there. Is this where the flasher should go and is missing? Sorry to be sooo dumb, but appreciate any help so I can get this thing inspected (and pass).
