Where to go from here? B16AEnzo650 10-26-2002, 10:09 PM After FINALLY getting my 91 CRX Si back, I dont know where to go from here. Cant really decide. Opinions would be appreciated. My goal is to be running mid 13's in street trim. Currently my car is set up as follows: 91 CRX Si with JDM B16A engine and LSD tranny AEM cool air intake Tanabe exhaust high flow cat headers Skunk2 coilovers Tokiko Shocks Short shifter Clutchmaster stage 3 clutch Cant decide on all motor, turbo, supercharger, or just a big shot of nitrous. Price is a factor...... thanks for your opinions Fishcat37 11-01-2002, 06:00 PM If you want to go NA- I would replace your short block with an ITR B18C(5) block, or a GSR B18C(1). Get some B16B CTR pistons and rods. bore and hone the block to spec. spoon or mugen high comp. head gasket, Mate your b16a head to it- give it a port and polish job, and valve job. I would get the Skunk2 valve train, skunk2 stage 2 cams. ITR or Skunk2 intake manifold. Buy some slicks, and I would say that with your LSD (Y1 or YS1?) trans you should be able to pull 13s. If you want to go turbo- then build your motor w/ low compression pistons etc. (if you want to boost high), get a block guard, port and polish the head....with a T3/T4 hybrid turbo. Im not sure how many pounds that you would have to run, but 13s would be very doable with a built turbo b16 w/ slicks.:cool: civickiller 11-05-2002, 06:14 AM since you say street trim, do you also mean street tires ? if you run slicks then thats a different story. there are 2 guys over here with b16s in a 5th gen hatch and 4th gen hatch, they both run mid 13s. i know that they run stock comp ratios, with an lsd, slicks. idk what else they run. so its possible to run mid 13s going na with stock comp ratio. i think if you upgrade your axles with racing axles to handle high hp, get slicks, get like a stage 1 street cam, and a 50 shot. you should be in the mid 13s launch at rev limiter. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
