ok is it possible to remove the rotors (mainly front but rear to) with home tools? a friend has a 94 accord and was saying the rotors are "pressed" on. requireing a machine to put them on and take them off. my accord (as stated in title) is a:

2000 accord
V6 vtec
4dr
4 disc w/ABS

the car is no longer drivable because of the poor contition of the brakes and rotors. when i put on the new pads n rotors...what are some good, but cost effective pads and rotors to buy?

you should be able to remove with a descent set of tools i have a 93 and the rotors are bolted to the wheel bearing via for bolts and alot of them the wheel should be holding the rotor on. the only time ive seen rotors pressed on are rwd cars because hondas are fwd you should not have this problem and i dont know what that guy whas thinking because the 93 and 94 are identical the only thing that should change is the body well let me know how it goes or if you have any problems
