y oldest daughter just came home and told us that she got into an accident with my Olds 88... She was OK, but we didn't have collision insurance on the car and she was at fault.
She got hit at the rear tire. Now when the car drives it's got floats all over the road. In other words, you need to constantly turn the steering wheel a half a turn to keep it going in a straight line. The car was hit several years ago and had big time steering problems for years.
No sounds coming out of the rear end though. Maybe the rear tire is slanted in??
The car was banged up to start with and now I'm thinking it totaled. Any words of wisdom before I call it a day??
Thanks,
Stan

I'd say the rear end has shifted over causing it to dog track
Probly ready for an alignment shop.
.... or if it costs to much, the scrap yard.
Good Luck

Yeah, could just need to be aligned. If the frame is bent tho i would say it is done for because frame repair is not cheap.
