93 toyota valve cover gasketsenorth 06-02-2007, 03:43 PM I've got a buddy that needs some help. He has a 93 Toyotal 3.0 litter 6 cylinder with fuel injection. I am going to help him put new valve cover gaskets in. My question is will I need any special tools? Is there a special sequince of torqueing the valve covers down? I have to remove the intake manifold to get to both valve covers I will also have to remove the fuel injection bar, the rest will be easy. Thank you for your help. My current 81 toyota has 289,372 miles on it. What a great truck. Eli fourwd1 06-04-2007, 08:01 AM You shouldn't need any special tools. A FSM will ive you torque sequences and values.
