B&M short shifterKrazyBlasian 05-31-2007, 08:21 AM i just purchased a B&M short shifter for my S13. and i would like to know if anyone here has one and their opinions on it. any problems or anything? im hoping that when it comes in it'll have installation instructions. but ive found some online. Chuki_breath 05-31-2007, 06:23 PM it has instructions....easy to install. THe feeling is alot shorter just going through the gears sitting there. I have 0 miles on mine, so i dont know about actual driveability feel. http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l99/kasilvia/shifter5.jpg http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l99/kasilvia/shifter2.jpg http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l99/kasilvia/interior.jpg slideways... 05-31-2007, 08:31 PM im in the same boat^. just be careful and dont bang through gears as hard as you would with a stock shifter. youll go through synchros faster. if you know how to shift and be easy with it, your synchros will last as long as you want. other than that, its 6 bolts on top of the transmission. easy as pie nissan_240sx 05-31-2007, 10:58 PM kewl. chuki your garage has good lighting lol Chuki_breath 06-04-2007, 06:41 PM actually thats my uncles 1k (dunno specifics) camera........it makes me look like i can take an ok picture haha Hit_N_Run-player 06-05-2007, 01:34 AM the 2 front bolts were a bitch on my car, i got an angled gear wrench which made things really easy. KrazyBlasian 06-05-2007, 09:20 AM well i jus installed it last night. and its was real easy except for those 2 front bolts. they were a biotch. and it prolly woulda helped a lil bit if i could properly lift my car cuz i have a piece of crap car jack. but other than that def easy. and i love how it shifts. feels amazing. and it has the normal "buzzing" noise that B&M are known for but its nothing bad at all very quiet. thanks everyone for the help. sr20det_s12 06-05-2007, 04:51 PM I have a b&m aand i love it. It Shifts great, the shifts are so much faster, and the gears are soo much closer together. Chuki_breath 06-05-2007, 06:34 PM the 2 front bolts were a bitch on my car, i got an angled gear wrench which made things really easy. i took it two steps easier and reemed out two holes and just screwed them in lol.
