Hey guys, First post.

I'm picking up my Red 2003 Tiburon tomorrow with the 6 speed tranny. I've seen all this talk of body kits and I have a few in mind that I am sure you have not seen. But...

What I was wondering is what type of sites/places you guys might have as to upping the horsepower on the tibby to around 350+ to the wheels. I got a few friends with a supra and a collector's edition trans am that are pulling around that much. I know they are running an inline 6 and a V8 which will pull more power in itself, but I want to keep up with them in the long run.

I'm already happy that the car's stock torque is 181 over 170 hp so it's a good start. I just think that the 2.7v v6 can't put out a whole lot more power than what headers/cams/etc can do to it. I also don't want to give my right arm for the parts either. Heh maybe I am asking too much...

NOS and turbos are a possiblility in the future when more becomes available, but I'm not a ricer type guy, so I want to keep the NOS off for now.

I live in Dallas and would like to hear what you guys think...

Matt

So far it's looking like the V6 ( DELTA ) will come apart when you get in the neighborhood of 23-240 HP at the wheels. Check out www.newtiburon.com we have lots of info in there.

Go to www.hyundaiaftermarket.com or www.hyundaiperformance.com

At HA.com, there are a few people that REALLY know everything and everything there is to know about Hyundai's, because we have all came from the old days of FxTreme. At HA, you will see names such as Onpol, Red, Random, Visions (that's me), and a few others. We all lurk and post on HP.com as well. So if you want up to date and accurate info on ANY Hyundai, go to those forums and you'll learn more than you can handle about these vehicles. ;)
