I know this is a bit off topic from Skylines, but since I know there are many service members in this forum, I just want to say.

Good luck and God speed. As a former Army Tanker (2/64 Armor) and someone who today works with many from the Middle East, I want you all to remember that we must not blame everyone from the Middle East, must not stoop to their level, but hunt down and punish those that are responsible, take the pain we all feel and deliver it ten folds.

In the end, come home safe and pray the only ass whooping we'll have to do is on the race track.

Also to all our friends in Malaysia, be careful to ok. You guy's have the tallest towers in the world and these terrorist will destroy all that is beautiful to make their lost point heard.

My God, that's one of the nicest and most impactful poem I have ever read. I have goosepimples all over reading it!. As a fellow human being, I am with all American and share all their grief and sadness on this sad and barbaric attack on civility and humanity. It is an affront to all and it is just so disappointing to see that centuries of progress that we human made don't do anything to erase barbarity from some people. To all men and women in uniform in whom the security of the whole nation and probably the whole world is entrusted, I would like to say BE STRONG AND HAVE FAITH FOR GOOD ALWAYS TRIUMPH OVER EVIL THOUGH THE ROAD TO VICTORY MAY OFTEN BE LITTERED WITH OBSTACLE. I myself am a Muslim and as a true Muslim I abhore anykind of cruelty and unkindnerss to all human being and even animal for that matter. I feel so strongly about these matters and I can't express in words my sadness and indignation. I may be naive but I just can't understand why we could kill each other over anything.PEACE TO ALL.

We have people who march for the KKK, Nazi Party, etc. here in the states. Do all Americans back these parties, No, of course not. Not even 1% of the population back those hate groups.

That's a bit of an off-color comparison as terrorism is a state sponsored activity in Afghanistan (even their former allies the Pakistani's have stated as such). We aren't aiming for the citizens, we're aiming for the training camps.

What is alarming to me (and telling as well) is that everyone is scrambling to assist us except Afghanistan. Ball's in their court. Either way is a victory for the civilized world. Bin Ladin is turned over, terrorists everywhere say "Well, gee...even our supporters are willing to turn us over when the trouble comes around....how do we open the eyes of dissidents if noone else believes in out methods?"
Or two....the world unites and wipes a known faction of terrorism off the earth (and a set of ideals). Although most groups are willing to give their lives, are they willing to have their ideals destroyed? Whether Bin Ladin is guilty of this particular offense or not....there is no doubt he has committed terrorist acts against American civilians in the past....I don't think the world really cares anymore.......

Afghanistan is ruled by the Taliban who rule by the gun. WE need to eliminate the Taliban, hunt down all the worlds terrorists and HELP THE CIVILIANS!!!! That is the only way to stop terrorism... Make the people like the West, then they wont attack. If we can destroy all levels of terrorism, much of it will cease.

We all want the same outcome, the people responsible brought to justice, and anyone else that is associated with them as well.
