95 lumina transmission fluid lines

I replaced the metal transmission fluid lines that go into the radiator because they had rusted through and were leaking. The new line keeps leaking at the fitting to the radiator between the line and the flare nut, not around the threads. Any suggestions?

Im not quite sure what you mean but you might try a layer of teflon tape... otherwise I haven't the foggiest.

I tried removing and cleaning everything several times but it still leaked. I noticed some small flaws in the new metal lines where they fit into the radiator. I ended up using a single wrapping of graphite faucet packing between the end of the line and the flare nut and the leak stopped.

Sounds right to me,not flared right. You are supposed to double flare, not to single flare. If ever going to hoses, flare the end where the hose is going to be slipped on and clamped. If you do not do this, the hoses will blow off real easy and will burn up the transmission real easy.
