I went to a Citgo gas station today, and wow, my Caprice won't work there! Every single pump there would, as soon as I start fueling, would stop, as if I was full (i was empty!)..

What the heck?! The manager came out and literally told me I'd need to go to another gas station because these pumps just don't work on my tank.

In my entire 20 years life (LOL), I've never heard of this.. Any information about this? it's the tank that you fuel from behind the license plate..

In my Caprice, nearly every single gas station I go to, if I give the pump "full throttle" it does the same thing as if it's full. The only stations that don't do that are the ones with the slow pumps. Yah just gotta be patient and go easier on the pump speed. OR, try pulling the nossel out about an inch so the spring around the neck of the nossel isn't touching the fuel tank neck.

Well, CITGO is owned by the Venezuelan state government, and that wacko psycho commie dictator Chavez ... hmm...

^ lol! anyways, i'll give that a shot next time I go to a gas station that is a Citgo. i had the spring touching, because thats how I thought it went.. other gas stations have the flap right AT the spring, while it seems Citgo pumps have a fairly large spring...
