Does your Blazer have a funny clunking sound when your making a slow turn. Like coming out of the garage or parking lot. Could be loose hood bolts! It doesn't take much. Prop open hood. Have someone sit in the drivers seat. Close the drivers door and window so he/she can hear well. Someone else grab the side of the hood, now push and pull the hood in and away from the windshield. Do you feel that itty bitty play. Does the driver hear it inside the passenger compartment. Does it sound like the clunk you've been hearing all this time and didn't know where it was coming from???

If it is try fixing these bolts and see if it helps the problem go away or at least reduce the clunk.
Prop open hood. At the bottom of the Windshield at EACH corner is a black plastic cover. Remove screw and carefully pop it off. Be Careful not to break the clips! Hmmm maybe spray a little lube and slowly work it off. Be carefull. Once cover is off you will see the 2 hood bolts. Take them off one at a time and experiment with different sizes of strips of duct tape to use as a spacer between bolt and hood. Use the Duct tape as a washer, wrap it around the bolt. Do that with both bolts and tighten them up. Remember to be careful not too tighten them too tight or you risk messing up the bolt holes. Once you tighten them up grab the hood and push pull again. Is the hood still clunking a little. Well....put some more duct tape. Keep doing this until the hood is nice and tight. Spray some lube (silicone spray) on plastic cover and snap it back into place. Repeat this Repair on the passenger side as well.

Your Done! Enjoy
