96 Aurora Driver's Door Lock

My power door lock is not locking or unlocking the driver's side door. When I push the lock button, a mechanism moves at the lock, but the lock does not lock or unlock. I believe that the auto lock mechanism is broken. Is it difficult to replace the power portion of the lock? Is it all one piece? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

I've posted fix in a previous thread. Its a small problem with a rubber bumper piece that wears out. Here is alink on how to fix it.

I was able to follow the instructions and was able to fix the actuator. The white rod that moved up and down had popped out of its socket. I snapped it back in and all is well. Thanks. MT
