So I have a 96 Taurus LX, i was going to bleed the brakes. And both my rear nipples broke in the calipers. Now instead of going to the junkyard and replacing my calipers, could I remove the nipples??

Is there a special tool for broken bolts? I heated the niples and still no avail, still broke.

Let me know, thanks

99% of the time a bleeder breaks, you will end up replacing the caliper.

You need an extractor drill bit. It'll come right out

He stated that heating them up did not work and they still snapped. By time you get a bit and start drilling and messing around, you could have gotten 2 new calipers and had them on and done with. I know you can get aftermarket calipers pretty cheap also.

How to fix this problem the easy way, I went to the scarp yard and got 2 rear calipers for $50 :)

I came to this conclusion because my bit extractor broke in the nipple hole, so that's the way I fixed the problem.
