hi all iam new to this but have a wee question at present i have a 1993 1.6 (abu) engine car is in fantastic condition for age but engine is a bit long in the tooth now my question is has anyone ever transplanted a 2.0l 8v or 16v engine and how tricky of a job is it electrical wise any info would be greatly appreciated thanx

We dont have the 1.6 abu in the states but the 2.0 8v aba engine sould bolt right up to the transmission and I believe it uses the same clutch setup also. The 16v would be alot more dificult due to it having cis injection as opposed to fuel injection.
