Get a 3 row rad for a 22RTE or V6 truck. Bolts right in.
Or get your stock one rebuilt.

what was the last thing you did to it before it started overheating? im not doubting your workmanship, but maybe something else is the problem.

Good question.

And how much can you soup-up a 22R that it runs so hot ??

I mean, a cam, headers, a bigger carb, that shouldn't make it run a lot hotter.

I have a 22r head that has been shaved and the valves have been bored the cylinders are 40 over and are running high compression pistons the cam is a 4X4 extreme comp cam and the water pump is a stock repleacement aslo the springs are done and the rockerarms im also running schaffers moly sytetic oil its only sold through a dealer its ment for drag strips but it displaces heat but the carb is stock though the dish is flipped with a k&n with a header after that i have a flow 40 then noothing

Is it possible that you bored it over too far? If the cylinder walls get too thin It transfers heat to the waterjacket too easily. max overbore on a 22r is 3.701"... i am a newbie though
