Deal or No DealDeCiX 05-12-2007, 11:44 PM I'm currently looking at a 1999 SL, don't know much about these cars, but here is the text from the guy. This car must go do to current family issues. I've got a 1999 Saturn SL 5spd that I need to get out of my driveway. As of a week ago the car was not running. That all has changed. The car is now running and driving. The car is lowered, has an exhaust, has a short shifter. The car now has a battery with a 1 year warranty, then only thing left to adjust is the idle. If you would like to look at the car and you are in the ---- area you can either stop by or I can meet you at a location in -----. I am also obligated to tell you that this car does have a rebuilt title Its under 1000 should i buy it? Cat Fuzz 05-13-2007, 01:23 AM For one thing, the idle is not adjustable. If the idle is out of spec, there is something wrong. Sounds like it's been riced up so, depending on who did the ricing it could be all buggered up and hacked. If it's under a grand it sounds like a good deal if the body is in good shape and the interior is clean and its a twin cam engine. If it's not a twin cam, it would be especially embarrassing to drive as the single cam engine can barely get the car out of it's own way. I just laugh at people who rice up single cam Saturns. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
