I'm not sure. I've never seen a RM with 26s on it. Most of the remaining RM in my area are driven by 'older folk' and I really can't see them putting 26s on their cars:lol:. Perhaps you could contact Tirerack and ask one of the associates there. They have always answered my questions when I contacted them. They might be able to give you a little more insight on what needs to be done.

EDIT: I remember seeing something similar to your question awhile back. After some quick searching, I came up with this thread asking a similar question about putting them on a Caprice,(which is another B body GM car like the Roadmaster and Impala.) Here s the link:http://impalassforum.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=22;t=002521;p=
Obviously, reading down through the thread you can see that the idea does not go over well with other B body owners, but there might be some info you can use.

you will need a major lift kit... i have a 94 rm with some 20in davins and vogue tires... they are the same diameter as 24s. to put anything bigger, you will have to get about 6 in of lift...i needed 3 in the front and put airshocks on back, but if you raise the back any higher the front of the back wheel will touch your back door. there is a kit called a gorilla lift. it will give you the height but you will have to extend your driveshaft. gorilla lifts are made for these kinds of upgrades...im not sure 'bout the spelling of gorilla lift.
