Besides taking off the gas cap what else do you do to relieve fuel system pressure????

removing the gas cap will not relieve fuel pressure. there is a fuel pressure tap under the throttle body. remove the cap and use a small screwdriver or something to press down on the valve core.(it's just like a tire valve stem) hold a rag around it as you do this to keep gas from spraying all over you.

This is the fuel tap ksion15 mentioned you should use to relieve the fuel pressure.

Or, you can pull the fuel pump relay and run the engine till it dies. Along with the gas cap thing.
