A non racer was killed after an accident. Its the first fatal accident in the G3K in 9 years.

Although, it was eventually bound to happen... just one of those things you hope doesn't.

The way those guys drive sometimes, I'm surprised this doesn't happen more often. Hate to see it happen, but at the same time can't wait for it again next year./

The gumball is re-damned-diculous. Last time I checked, it was a 28,000 Pound Sterling entracne fee. Thats a touch over 60k US. The Cannonball, on the other hand, is much more reasonable. Only 15k entrance, I believe.

Well 60k over 4 people thats only 15k a person...I'm sure I could talk the wife into letting me do that..:screwy:

but really for a once in a lifetime trip, I'm assuming I could save up money for a couple years and do with friends

and I know its ridiculous...that's why if you actually do it, you would never ever forget it...it would be your bar story for the rest of your life
