Has anyone heard a thunping noise while traveling over small road irregularites.. I thought it was upper strut mount, but no such luck. New one in and still same noise. IT seems tobe coming from right outside the passenger side footwell. Has anyone heard this before. 99altima. Car rides great other wise, brakes even, soaks bumps well, so i dont think the strut is bad.

replace your struts if you still have the originals in. check bushings and lower ball joint
