I have an 85 civic hatch, it has inset headlights. As far as I'm aware the cars of the same model but after 86 had headlights that sit flush with the body like most cars do now days. I was wondering if anyone knew if the headlights that sit flush will fit in the older civics like mine.

youd have to do a custom job I believe. I know 88-91 there's conversion headlights that fit..... It is possible though I have seen such customizing. Just alot of work i asume? hope someone else is more helpful than me.

I think the '86-'87 headlights can be installed with a little work. You might need the newer header panel and corner lights too.

No they will not just bolr in . Teh parts that you will need to make this happen are,
header panel, core support, both fenders, headlights (with mounts), corner markers.

The 86-87 headlight and corner marker assembly are about 1/2 " shorter than the setup that you presently have and the flush style mounts will not bolt onto the core support from the sealed beam style core support.
