Any help would be appreciated. xeroinfinity 04-27-2007, 09:37 PM Welcome to AF. I moved your thread to the Grand am forum. The Tips & Maintenance section is for instructional posts, not questions. It does require some effort , and they do sell a tool that is suposed to help release the plastic clip. Thiers probly dirt on the inside lip keeping the clip from compressing. Try spinning/turning the clip back and fourth to loosen the debrie also. Thier is also an "O" ring inside the end that has the clip. If you jamb the new filter nipple in wrong(crooked) you can damage this and it will leak gas, no fun getting an "O" ring back inside thier :grinyes: BTW remember it could be under pressure, have plenty of rags handy  vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
