Skyline in the PhilippinesJohnStrong240sx 04-27-2007, 03:14 AM I was just wondering if a skyline sold in the Philippines would be JDM spec. I was there in February and saw two different skylines parked. Made me wonder what was under the hood... lol. My parents are retiring next december and moving back to the homeland and it made me think about getting one when I go to visit them. I can only picture my pops drifting in it, lol. then again, I have no idea how much it would cost to buy over there. shoot, they're gonna need a car when they get there, why not a skyline. :evillol: Chuki_breath 04-27-2007, 05:53 PM i dunno about jdm spec, but they do have the correct motors. When my parents went on a carribean (sp) cruise, my dad took pictures of a few skylines. From the islands they visited. Wait the phillippeans are on the other side of the world haha, i thought you said puerto rico. Yea im pretty sure the phillipino's have jdm spec since its right there. Phillipines is a nice country, very pretty place. nismogt_rfreak 04-27-2007, 08:07 PM They have skyline's in the carribean? nissan_240sx 04-28-2007, 10:47 AM I'm part filipino. (1/2 filipino, white/japanese) I've been there about six times and there are skylines there.. there are alot actually lol. I've seen a good amount of R34's and some R33/R32's. They are also legally registered, and yes have correct engine spec as japan. There are a shit load of mitsu. evolutions though lol. Racing scene back there is pretty good. Best part is the dollar is like 50 some peso's. Which means CHEAP ass parts/cars lol. I'm planning to visit some relatives back there soon, beautiful place. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
