Mmmmm New Toy! :) jerseycavyz24 04-26-2007, 03:24 PM
I love small boxes lol. http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a37/mxb987/DSC05870.jpg Classicrocjunkie 04-26-2007, 10:07 PM Purdy.... I'll be looking for goodies like that come this winter. i want the most obnoxious one i can get. jerseycavyz24 04-26-2007, 10:30 PM lmao i kno right. type r isnt to loud, type s is pretty loud my friend has one in his rx-7 fuckin loud as hell. Schister66 04-26-2007, 10:42 PM you realize that the Greddy Type R is not a good BOV for just any setup....that BOV is used on higher boost cars and i wouldnt doubt that you'll have problems with compressor surge in the near future.... jerseycavyz24 04-26-2007, 11:11 PM From what i read online it said for applications between 250hp-500hp Derk_eliso 04-27-2007, 12:18 AM so how many horses do ya got under that hood of yours? lol Schister66 04-27-2007, 10:45 AM From what i read online it said for applications between 250hp-500hp BOV's dont really rate on a power level, but they're saying that it can handle the blow off from a turbo that flows enough to support 250-500hp. What turbo are you running and what kind of power are you hoping to make? I just dont want you to have problems with a high pressure race valve on a car that isn't going to see a high boost setup....if you're going to get rid of it, now is the time when its still new.... jerseycavyz24 04-27-2007, 09:32 PM i have a greddy t3 turbo, im lookin to be at 6-9psi around 225hp. But i think your right i might down grade to the Greddy rs bov. Type r seems to be over kill. Schister66 04-28-2007, 01:56 PM ^^that'd be your best bet...especially with a turbo like that which has a small shaft AND you're not running a lot of boost....the Greddy Type RS would be a good one for you Related Links Enter the largest automotive community on the planet! |
