2001 WB heat/ac controlsbdhunter 04-24-2007, 05:55 AM Recently the heat/ac controls for air direction stopped working completely. They are 'stuck' on defrost/floor only. The entire control assembly is easy enough to access, and it's the type with two wire harnesses plugged into the back (no vacuum lines at all), and seems to have a printed board enclosed. Would a replacement switch resolve this problem? or are there other things to look for. All fuses and relays related to heat/ac seems to be OK. I did remove the glove box hoping to find that circuit board mentioned in some posts here, but the 2001 doesn't seem to have that setup. At least it was not visible. Please help if you can, until this is resolved we have very little a/c. ssmorby 12-03-2007, 10:54 PM I'm not sure if you solved your problem, but on my 99 the control to send the air to defrost, floor, panel, etc...is a vacuum control that is visible under the glove box without removing anything. I could see the vacuum actuator moving a arm as the air flow changed. Hope this helps.:smooch: vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
