Ouch ... poorly designed autocross course anyone?JekylandHyde 04-23-2007, 12:02 PM VR43000GT 04-23-2007, 02:02 PM Oooooh shit, is that GT3? I'd ask for a refund. :icon16: poeticdeva 04-23-2007, 02:03 PM i'm new to this website. I'm trying to post a thread with an issue that my car is having. Can anyone tell me how to post a new topic VR43000GT 04-23-2007, 02:15 PM Go to the top left of the page and double-click new thread. Then fill out a title and a summary of your problem. Musashi3000GT 04-24-2007, 12:28 PM According to the guy who posted the driver of the car that smashed into all those other cars went to stomp on the brake and got the clutch instead. I guess its not the autocross course thats to blame but rather a really bad driver! how do you mistake the brake for the clutch? unless your like 80 years old then it happens all the time but shit! -The Stig- 04-24-2007, 06:08 PM Even still, if you step on the wrong peddle... you should still have ample room to recover from your mistake with enough run off. The story says there's a 200ft straight away to the finish. The finish should be pointing off into nowhere, where cars can safely slow down/coast to a stop and cruise to get their lap time. Not have to do evasive manuevers from Warp Factor 9 down to Impulse power to not hit little Jimmy who just dropped his wowwy-pop. BAM, Jimmy's dead and you've got 8-year old all over the front of a GT3. Who's to blame? That's right Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy. Fuckers raised a stupid kid who found it more interesting to pick up a half eaten lolly pop than to watch a badass car like a GT3. Darwinism my friends, it always seeks out the weak. :2cents: CassiesMan 04-24-2007, 06:21 PM That shit'll buff right out. Just give me som bondo and an electric sander, I'll take care of it for ya... JekylandHyde 04-24-2007, 09:49 PM Yeah, the issue is not the driver error, but rather (1) having other cars parked anywhere near a hot zone and (2) having that much acceleration room prior to the finish. You want cars slowing down, not accelerating, when the run is over. KamilMk 04-25-2007, 12:13 AM When I read the title I was expecting to see the video of Eddie Griffin crashing the Enzo for some reason... :dunno: But man, that doesn't look good... Four cars, and a Porsche one of them... :nutkick: CassiesMan 04-25-2007, 03:11 AM According to the guy who posted the driver of the car that smashed into all those other cars went to stomp on the brake and got the clutch instead. I dunno man, it said the guy driving the Porsche that crashed was setting damned good times in a 'Vette, I think it probbably just had his foot a bit to far over, or something like that. I don't think he totally missed the brake, just caught a bit of both. I'm with Stigy here. It was a bad place to put a 200ft long straight for speed. It would be like parking your car in the center of the Karusell on the 'Ring. Four cars, and a Porsche one of them Not just any Porsche, but a GT3. I mean, if it had been a Boxster or Cayanne, yeah maybe, but shit...a GT3. Man. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
