The problem has been increasing in effect for a while but I cannot locate accurately, sounds like the front wheel bearings on both sides. I have had the wheels off and checked the brakes, OK. more evident when braking though I guess there is a higher load on the front end during this.

Any thoughts other than bearings?

CV joints? Generally, failed inner joints are noticeable during acceleration and deceleration; outer joints while turning. Transmission? Cupped outer tire treads indicate suspension problems - likely strusts.

Thanks RIP, the only time this is apparent is upon braking, during regular driving or coasting there is a slight whine. No click or clunk when doing the test circles right or left turning only a real rumble or grinding when braking yet the pads, calipers and rotors are all good. I'm noticing now that the whine increases when turning without braking. You mentioned the inner CV's is there a higher load on them when braking?
