first off my name is Mike I am new here and new to owning a Cadillac, hope i won't regret it..

i recently bought a 99 SLS and just npticed that all 4 door speakers do not work, dash and back deck work fine... This is not the bose system, at least the radio doesn't say bose on it... anyone have any ideas on where i should look first??

and will a Bose head unit work in my car or is it a waste of time?...

ey Mike my name is Shan, if you have a bose system then somewhere on the speaker grills it would say bose system. If not than is just a plain Delco system than make sure that there are speakers in the doors. (i.e. shine a light in holes to see)

i'm looking into buying a 98 seville sts, i hear the bose system comes standard with this model, is this true? and is it really worth the money, cause i don't want to spend to upgrade the stereo.

i can't tell you about the bose... but if this is the standard system i have in my car, it sounds great and i dont even have door speakers yet:banghead: , its just running on what looks to be a 10" sub in the center of the back deck, and one small center dash speaker.. I can imagine when the doors are working and i put my 2 - 12" Diamonds in the trunk:iceslolan ...

thanks, because I think im just gonna put some 2 12'' audiobahn's in the back and call it good. Do you have any idea if its easy taking out the reciever and connecting the subs, cause I don't know if it has rca jacks or not, considering it is not aftermarket.
