I recently bought a 1991 Eighty Eight Royale and it sat for months. I recently replaced both car battery and key fob batteries with new. The key fob seems to be the original(FCC GQ43VT1 DOC). Instructions on reprogramming is needed greatlye the driver's lock cylinder isnt working.
Please specify name and location of componets and/or if there is any part that needs to be removed, and please describe components in detail.

I also have a problem with the gas gauge, once I turn on the accesories the gauge reads 1/8 full, once I start the engine, the needle drops back to Empty. I've still tried to pump gas into it but the pump stops(indicating that the tank is full) and once I get back in and turn the car back on, the gauge still reads empty.

Help is GREATLY APPRECIATED

Pres the UNLOCK button on the remote
Doors should lock and unlock again
if you have more remotes press their unlock button (up to 4)

usually underneath the dash on the driver side. it should be fairly easy to spot as it looks like something youd see on the back side of a computer

I've found this but no progress, there aren't any metal pins inside any of the slots except A B and M

Open the glove box and look behind the Yellow trunk release button, there should be a connector attached if you have Keyless entry...

If its there all you have to do is ground out those 2 tabs and the system will cycle the locks and trunk release letting you know it ready to learn the remotes... Once you have programed the remote or remotes, remove the grounding tab you used..

Good Luck
