97 Camry Tail Lights Issues

The other day my indicator light was going on and off, then it just stayed on. I want to the back of the car and the tail lights on the back of the truck were out. So I replaced the bulbs and the indicator light went out and the lights were working. These worked for about 3 days and this morning I turned on the lights and the indicator light was on again and the tail lights were out again. I going to check the circuit to see if I'm getting any power to the lights or see if the bulb came loose or something. Is there any other thing that can go wrong with the tail lights on this car? Or something I should look for?

Check the loom of wires inside the trunk, by the driver's side trunk hinge. The wires in there have a tendancy to fray and break from all the flexing they are exposed to, when the trunk is opening and closing. Open up the loom and look for frayed or broken wires. Repair what you find as necessary.

Thanks for the information. 3 of the wires were previous repaired in the exact location you stated. They were just taped together and one of them as wiggled loose. I was able to repair the wires and now the lights are now working.

You're welcome. I'm glad it's now working properly.
