9.25" to dana 60 swap

I have trouble with my 98 dodge 1500 van. The differential is noisey. I put another junkyard one in and it is almost as bad. Some people claim the 9.25 has trouble with the pinion nut coming loose because the torque specs are so low because of a cheap crush sleeve. I guess if you rebuild it and put some locktite on the pinion nut it will not have trouble for a while. On a 4x4 forum someone suggested changing the unreliable 9.25 to a dana 60 which is more reliable. Has anyone ever done this on a street truck or daily driver? What about the ABS system and the lug nut pattern? Any info would help.

thanks mark
