i have a 1991 celica GT 2.2l and it is silent up untill about 4000 rpms with stock exaust....i installed a magnaflow muffler trying to get some low rpm sound and i got nothing...it is the same as stock...is it because i have 2 cat converters or what?...my friend has a 94 st with the same muffler and his is loud as hell....y cant i be loud 2

umm...not real sure why you want to be so loud but im guessing you probably haven't driven it enough to sorta "break in" the muffler. it ll get louder the more you use it.

ya its because of your cat's and are you sure you have two cats or a cat and a resinator? if you have a res, take it out and it will make it louder. also getting a high flow bullet cat will make it louder and getting 2.25 or 2.5 in exhaust line will also make it louder. i love loud cars but i also get a ticket about once a week.

Nice car. i got a 90 gt. i have cat back on mine and its pretty loud with a deep humm at idle
