QuestionDucaire 04-11-2007, 12:11 PM Is there some sort of intake I can have put in my truck to make it get better gas mileage? (A friend of mine has an F-150 and he said he gets around 25 mpg)? If so, where might I find one? And can it be put into a 1990 S10? Thanks. :) ZL1power69 04-12-2007, 04:15 PM what engine does your s10 have? if its a 4.3, 2.8, etc with a round air cleaner, you could install an open element air cleaner like this (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/K-N-FIPK-Air-Intake-88-89-90-91-92-Chevy-S10-Pickup_W0QQitemZ290101292801QQihZ019QQcategoryZ386 34QQrdZ1QQssPageNameZWD1VQQcmdZViewItem). theres no guarenty that it will improve MPG but it would probably help the engine breath a bit better. thebeastjuggalo 04-12-2007, 04:34 PM just about any aftermarket intake will give you better gas milage (and power) ebay may have some for dirt cheap if not then k&n most likely has one for a '90 s-10 vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
