think i found verdict in my v6 01 alero running hotscoopy03 04-10-2007, 04:41 PM there is a bolt right by the head that has been leaking out coolant. it is the bolt right next to my coolant temp. sensor. how would it leak by that bolt is my question? xeroinfinity 04-11-2007, 12:22 AM cracked intake or thier is not any teflon tape on the sensors threads. scoopy03 04-11-2007, 12:27 AM cracked intake or thier is not any teflon tape on the sensors threads. they is teflon tape on the coolant temperature sensor. its coming right out the bolt right to the left of the coolant temp. sensor. i'll take a picture and show you tomorrow if possible. BNaylor 04-11-2007, 12:33 PM It sounds like one of the LIM bolts which is very close to the ECT sensor. Have you ever replaced the LIM gaskets?
