This light has been blinking without stopping for a few years now on the 1998 Chevrolet Prizm I have. What would be the easiest way to either fix the problem or just disable it. I don't really care to have the light at all, so if you know a way to easily stop the damn blinking let me know. haha

Sorry about the spelling error. Indicator*

I ended up just taking the bulb out.

Have you checked the female end of the front buckles for dirt or french fry parts stuck inside? Or maybe you have shoved something under the seat one time and knocked loose the wiring connector underneath?
Just a suggestion. I assume the buckle is latching properly and you are using the seat belt.

I have this same problem, a continually
blinking seat belt indicator light. Did any of you
ever find out what causes this? The car runs
great, except for the blinking light.

I still think it may be caused by either french fries and Coke stuck in the buckle, or the wiring harness under the front seats was kicked loose by a long legged passenger in the back seat.
