i recently replaced the stock infinity front door speakers on my 95 grand cherokee with some new infinity 2 way speakers. my problem is that the new speakers dont sound as good as the old ones did, theres not as much mid and bass with the new speakers. i dont know if anyone else has expierenced this. if you have what would you suggest. im thinking im just going to get some midbass drivers for the doors and see what that does.

Not positive on this one and some one can correct me, but the stock Infinity Gold speakers are a 3 way speaker allowing for a better mid to high range sound. If you have a 2 way you should have more bass than highs. Anyway I replaced mine with some cheap Wal-Mart speakers...Sony Xplosions I think. I do know they were 220W each speaker, when I bought my Jeep the speakers were all blown anyway so really do not know how the factory system sounded. I do know that with the speakers I have now will jam, definitely hurt my ears and sound decent, not the best though. I can turn it up and be about 50 feet away and still hear it fine with little distortion.

I put Alpine Type-R's in my door and they sound really good
